MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department confirms that a body has been recovered from the Milwaukee River.
The Milwaukee Fire Department Dive Team was called to the river, near 100 W. Seeboth Street, around 1:20 p.m. Saturday for a report of a body in the water.
The body was recovered around 1:45 p.m.
Milwaukee Police are investigating. They say the body is an African American male, unknown age.
There is no word on cause of death.
