Blizzard Mania in The Northeast Costing Quite A Lot!

Boston is still digging out from close to five feet of snow in just the last few weeks.  Snow removal alone has cost this city $30 million.  And according to Planalytics, a weather research firm, the winter blizzards could be costing the nation $1 to $2 billion this year alone.

However, keep in mind, the Polar Vortex of 2014 cost the U.S. economy $15 billion.  In fact America's economic growth was -2.1% for the first quarter of 2014.  Projections for this quarter are more than 3%.  Lower gas prices we've been experiencing help as well.  In fact, drivers maybe saving $750 this year alone.
