Biker Arrested for OWI in Washington County

Adrian T Mayer, 40-years-old, from Hubertus, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol for his fourth offense of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

On Sunday, May 22 at 4:14 PM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a motorcycle for speeding on I-41 near Richfield in Washington County. Upon making contact with the driver, the Trooper observed signs of intoxication. Mayer also admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day.

Standardized field sobriety tests, as well as a preliminary breath test, were conducted. Mayer was arrested for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, 4th offense.

Mayer gave consent for a blood draw and a legal blood draw was conducted at an area hospital. Mayer was booked into the Washington County Jail and will also be cited for open intoxicants, operating without a motorcycle license, non-registration of a vehicle, and speeding all of which took place in a construction zone.

A probation violation hold was also placed on Mayer, as he is currently on probation for a prior OWI conviction.
