MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bicycle riders got the chance to learn more about riding with Milwaukee's streetcar on Thursday evening.
The Hop teamed up with the Wisconsin Bike Fed to host a unique ride.
They biked along the future streetcar route and learned helpful tips about navigating the road together.
"You know, encourage people to cross at as close of a 90 degree angle as possible and then also to be as upright as possible when crossing that track and not leaning into a curve or anything like that," said Jeff Polenske, a City of Milwaukee Engineer.
The ride started at 6 p.m. at the Hop's operations building near Clybourn and Vel Phillips Avenue.
They then rode the entire length of the streetcar route.
