Between 15 and 17 Gallons of Gasoline Spilled out from Gas Pump Being Over Filled

Approximately 15-17 gallons of gasoline spilled onto the concrete at a Citgo station in Madison when the pump failed to turn off automatically.

According to Madison’s Fire Department, the customer who was pumping gas was not attending to the pump at the time.

The customer, also, had locked himself out of his vehicle.

Police officers were called to the scene at the request of the customer, who refused to pay for the excess gasoline.
