MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Kids are getting into the Halloween spirit as the Betty Brinn Children's Museum kicks off its Betty BOO's Spooktacular.
This event has been going on for more than 20 years.
The children got to create glow in the dark slime, explore the museum, and trick or treat along the way.
There was even a guest pumpkin carver, as well as a meet and greet with Tatiana's Tiny Zoo, where they get to interact with some reptiles.
The vice president of marketing at the museum says having fun is an important part in early childhood development.
"Betty Brinn focuses on the tender age of early childhood education 2-8 … take risks and work together," said Stacy Bartsch with the museum.
