MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Kiantis Gallion, a 24-year-old motivational speaker and autism advocate, joined us on Friday, Dec. 27 to chat about his journey as a Best Buddies ambassador for Wisconsin and the organization’s ongoing programs.
He was joined by Justin Stipan, Vice President of the Wisconsin Best Buddies advisory board.
Gallion shared his experience living with an intellectual disability and how it shaped his involvement with Best Buddies International. The nonprofit supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through friendship, employment and leadership programs.
The Best Buddies State Showdown fundraiser, which runs through Tuesday, Dec. 31, aims to raise money to expand services for individuals with IDD. Donations can be made online, and more information can be found by clicking here.
