NABJ-Milwaukee to host 2nd annual Black Men’s Health Panel
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bereaved Together joined us on Wednesday, June 25 to discuss a series of upcoming programs designed to support grieving families and mothers in southeastern Wisconsin. The events include their annual conference, a new monthly movement-based initiative and a fall remembrance walk for the community.
Lisa Price, president of the nonprofit, and board member Sarah Dominguez shared information about these events.
The "BRAVE Moves" sessions, held the last Monday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m., begin Monday, June 30 at rotating locations. They are open to bereaved mothers seeking to engage in physical activity as part of grief processing.
"A Walk to Remember" will take place Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Historic Hose Tower in Greendale. Check-in and activities begin at 11 a.m. and the walk starts at 1 p.m.
The next Bereaved Mothers Conference is scheduled for May 2-3, 2026.
