Beaver Dam hosting meeting for those impacted by apartment explosion on Sunday
BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Following the deadly explosion at an apartment complex in Beaver Dam, city officials are holding a meeting for impacted members of the incident.
The meeting will be held for community members at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 11 at Harvest Evangelical Free Church located at W7444 Highway 33 in Beaver Dam.
At the same time, officials will hold a separate press conference for media. CBS 58 will stream that press conference on our website and on Facebook.
Beaver Dam officials are highly encouraging anyone who lives or owns a business around Village Glen Apartments including the area of Knaup Dr., N. Spring St. from Woodland Dr. to Industrial Dr. E., and Industrial Dr. E. to but not including Highway 151, to attend the meeting.
Anyone wishing to donate money for the residents that have been displaced can make the donation at any Dodge County Horicon Bank. The money will be used for residents of Building 109 only. The name of the donation fund is Dodge County COAD / Beaver Dam Apartments.
Anyone wanting to donate anything else should bring the items to St. Vincent DePaul or American National Bank.
