MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The main trusses will be lifted into place at the Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church on Thursday morning.
Members of the church say the move marks an important step forward in the rehabilitation process.
The steel trusses will span the center of the sanctuary.
Trinity Church caught fire on May 15, 2018. The fire destroyed the roof.
The plan is to have the church enclosed by the end of July and August so the roof can be put on and when it’s done, restoration on the inside can begin.
