Be one of the first 10,000 to download new Summerfest App and get tickets to the Big Gig

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The new Summerfest App is available for people to download, and the first 10,000 people who do will get a free ticket to the Big Gig on Friday, Sept. 3. 

Once you've downloaded the app, tap on the “tickets” button in the left menu to claim the FREE digital admission ticket to Summerfest.

It will be valid from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Summerfest App will have artist information and bios, full lineups and schedules and reminders when your favorite bands go on stage. 

There will also be interactive festival maps including the location of the various beers offered at the festival and vendor menus. 

This year, Summerfest will run for three weekends in September.
