MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With April marking National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Bay View Community Center is commemorating Wisconsin's Family Strengthening Month with an inaugural event on April 22.
The gathering will showcase various activities and mini workshops aimed at fostering healthy relationships, effective parenting and positive family dynamics.
Diana Billstrom, Director of Family Learning and Community Engagement, and Mike Mortell, President and CEO of BVCC, joined us on Thursday, April 20 to discuss the center's commitment to promoting family well-being through revamped programming.
