Badgers take on Fighting Irish in matchup at Lambeau Field

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Badgers play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in their first game of the season at Lambeau Field Sunday, Sept. 6.

The Badgers tradition? Run the ball. And it seems they're back to doing that.

The Badgers may need to play smash mouth football in order to keep it close with Notre Dame.

Iowa State transfer Abu Sama dreams of "Jump Around," Lambeau leaps, and following in the footsteps of Dayne, Ball, Gordon and White.

"When I'm walking across the field, going to dinner or lunch and breakfast, I would say I definitely would be imagining myself scoring," said Sama. "Doing a lot of things on the field so...I cannot wait to get started on it."

CBS Sports Insider Lance Allan asked Sama, "Is it a dream come true or what is it like for a running back to run at a place that has been so heralded?"

"I would say, I feel like it's a standard here just, a standard," said Sama. "We keep ourselves to this high expectation so it's something that, you know, I feel like that has to be done in a way."

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
