Badgers look to Big Ten Tournament after loss to Purdue

Wisconsin's amazing run through the Big Ten Conference was halted in the team's regular season finale Sunday, a 91-80 loss at Purdue that snapped a stretch of 11 wins in 12 games.

Nigel Hayes scored 30 points to lead Wisconsin, but Purdue shot 62% as a team en route to its 24th win of the season. With the loss, Wisconsin falls to the sixth seed for the upcoming Big Ten Tournament, meaning the Badgers have to win four games instead of three to capture the tournament title.

Wisconsin will face the winner of the Purdue-Nebraska game Thursday night at approximately 8:15PM Central Time in Indianapolis. The NCAA Tournament Selection Show happens just after the championship game of the Big Ten Tournament next Sunday.
