Badgers continue home streak against Hoosiers, give Indiana first Big Ten loss

Wisconsin's NCAA Tournament hopes haven't faded away just yet.

Nigel Hayes scored 31, Ethan Happ 25 as the Badgers beat Tom Crean's Indiana Hoosiers 82-79 in overtime to extend their win streak over Indiana at the Kohl Center to 14 games.

Yogi Ferrell poured in 30 for Indiana, but couldn't hit a potential game winner in the closing seconds of regulation, and missed a few key shots in overtime thanks to a strong defense under the basket by the Badgers, who have now beaten Michigan State and Indiana at the Kohl Center as they continue to pile up impressive wins for their tournament case. There is plenty of work to do, though; the Badgers still have just 12 wins on the season.
