Badgers basketball exciting Madison
We're just over a month away from Selection Sunday on CBS. It's the yearly broadcast that tells college basketball fans which teams are in the tournament, and which are on the wrong side of the bubble.
The Wisconsin Badgers (22-2, 10-1) are in the hunt for a coveted number one seed in the tournament, and with Tuesday night's win over Nebraska has tied a program best record through 24 games.
Fans we talked to on campus Wednesday say they're expecting at least another Final Four appearance.
“I would actually like for them to go as far if not further than they did last year. And then if I could in some way acquire tickets to that game, that would be pretty awesome.” said UW freshman Austin Coppernoll.
“It's unlike I think Wisconsin basketball has ever had. CG IN They're right there on the edge of greatness.” said UW junior Tyler Konz.
The Badgers have seven regular season games left, and just three more at home in Madison. The next home game is Sunday with the Badgers play host to the Illinois Fighting Illini.
