Baconfest MKE Happens Sunday at Potawatomi

Thousands of bacon lovers will sample all kinds of bacon goodness from over 30 vendors at the 6th annual Baconfest MKE this Sunday inside the Events Center at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino.

102.9 THE HOG and Patrick Cudahy host this celebration all things bacon and sampling of unique bacon creations and classic favorites prepared by Southeast Wisconsin’s best chefs and restaurants. Just some of the bacon dishes that will be available Sunday include: Bacon-wrapped ham, Smoked pork loin slider with Bacon & BBQ mayo, Bacon-wrapped cocktail franks, Bacon mac & chicken and Bacon chocolate chip cookies.

Additionally, before the doors open for Baconfest MKE, celebrity judges will determine the restaurant with the best bacon dish. The winning restaurant will be eligible to compete in Bacon category at the World Food Championship this November in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Baconfest MKE starts at noon on Sunday, February 19 and ends at 4:00 PM. The event will take place in the event center inside Potawatomi Hotel & Casino.
