Baby goats saved from barn fire in Dane County

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Dozens of baby goats are rescued after a barn fire in Dane County. 

Emergency crews in Dane County were called to a barn fire in the 1300 block of W. Medina Road in Medina around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. 

According to a release, the owner was able to save 49 out of 50 baby goats from inside before the structure became a total loss. There were no other injuries or property damage as a result of the fire. 

The estimated loss fo the building is $10,000-$15,000. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, however, it's believed it may have started due to a heat lamp.
