Baby bitten by family dog, seriously injured near 60th and Helena

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 45-year-old woman and a baby were injured after being bit by a dog near 60th and Helena in Milwaukee.
Authorities were called to the scene just before 2:30 p.m.
Milwaukee police said a family dog bit the baby and 45-year-old woman. The baby sustained serious injuries, and the woman sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The dog was taken to a dog shelter.
