Aurora Family Health Service packs up thousands of Thanksgiving meals

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Thanksgiving week brings out the generosity in a lot of people and organizations. On Monday, Nov. 25, CBS 58 was on Milwaukee's west side, where Aurora Family Health Service was handing out groceries for more than 3,000 holiday meals.

They're giving out so many meals that it takes more than just Aurora's organizations to do it.

"Obviously 3,000 meals are a lot of meals for us to hand out individually. So we work with a lot of community organiztrions, churches, community groups and they come and pick up the meals and give them to community families," said Sharain Horn Dalzin, Executive Director, Advocate Aurora Health Well Community.

This is part of Aurora's "Family to Family" Thanksgiving program.
