At least 4 injured in shooting on Seattle college campus

(CNN) -- A suspect is in custody in connection with a shooting Thursday that left four people wounded on a Seattle university campus, the Seattle Police Department said.

There are no outstanding suspects being sought at Seattle Pacific University, police reported on the department's official Twitter account. Initially police said they were searching for a second shooter.

One man and one woman suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. Another man and woman were in stable condition, they said.

The school reported on its website that the campus is on lockdown because of a shooting at Otto Miller Hall, which houses the university's science and engineering department. Students were urged to check text messages for updates.

\"Classes are suspended. Please do not come to campus,\" the university said in a post on its official Twitter account.

Seattle Pacific is a Christian university with a student population of 4,270. It is located in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood.
