Armed and Masked Men Steal Narcotics from Walgreens

The Milwaukee Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 9:08 AM on Saturday at the Walgreens located in the 1400 block of W. Burnham.

Three armed and masked men robbed the pharmacy of narcotics and fled to a vehicle parked in the lot. As they left the scene in the auto they were pursued by a security guard in a marked security vehicle. The subjects were pursued to the 1900 block of N. 27th St. where they lost control of their vehicle and struck a house.

The subjects then fled on foot into the neighborhood. Recovered from the vehicle were the proceeds of the robbery and a semi-automatic pistol.

The vehicle has not been reported stolen. Milwaukee Police are still investigating.
