"Are you going to shoot me:" Racine man charged after resisting arrest, lunging at officer

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine Police responded to an apartment for a report of a disorderly individual who would not leave a woman's apartment.

The woman called the police on Monday to report that she let the man stay with her but would now like him to leave due to him drinking all night and day.

Upon arrival, the man was allegedly yelling that officers were going to shoot him. Police asked the man to leave the residence but he allegedly refused and stated, "Are you going to shoot me?"

Officers continued to ask him to leave but he responded that the officers were going to shoot him and take him to jail.

Police say the man was highly intoxicated and turned loud music on and danced while officers were trying to get him to leave.

When officers attempted to get him into custody, he allegedly pulled away and lunged at an officer.

He now faces charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting an Officer.
