Our winter may have started a little light on snowfall but we've certainly made up for that this March. November and December were below-average on snowfall then we had a good amount in January before a lighter snowfall in February. March has been the snowiest month of the season so far with over 23" of snowfall. Overall the total season snowfall is sitting at 51.6".
After another dry day on Tuesday with some sun and clouds we see a mostly cloudy return overnight with a chance for a batch of snow to roll through between 3 AM to 10 AM on Wednesday. This will likely impact the Wednesday morning commute with some slippery roads.
Not a ton of accumulating snow is expected with a few tenths to around an inch of snow possible for most of southeast Wisconsin. Since this snow will mostly fall before the sun comes up expect the snow to stick on the roads.
