It's a gloomy start to our Tuesday, but at least it's dry! Even after two and a half weeks of wet weather we are still running behind on precipitation for the year since January 1st. Our current precipitation deficit is about 1.25".
Our next round of rain rolls in Tuesday evening. It starts with a few scattered showers then a round of steady rain will roll in between 10 PM to 12 AM tonight and come to an end between 4-6 AM Wednesday. There could be some pockets of heavy rain during this time.
By the time this next round of rain is done, most of southeast Wisconsin will see another soaker. 0.25-0.50" of rain is likely for most of the area with 0.75" possible in areas that get the heaviest rain.
Most of the morning commute on Wednesday looks dry and we might even see some sunshine by late morning. Another round of rain with scattered showers rolls in Wednesday late afternoon and evening which lasts throughout the night and mixes and switches with snow for Thursday and Friday.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the continued rain and mix chances.
