Another round of rain on the way for the weekend with a few snowflakes

We saw a little bit of everything this week - record high temps in the 70s, wind chills in the teens, thunderstorms, a dusting of snow - and now we are going to end it with a little more rain. Temperatures Saturday will warm to around 50 with gusts to 30 mph and we will see rain arrive Saturday afternoon and evening and last into Sunday.

After starting with sunshine Saturday the rain rolls in during the afternoon and becomes moderate and steady during the evening through early Sunday morning.

The longer the rain lingers into Sunday, the better chance to see some snowflakes mix in. No snow accumulation is expected at this point. Both days over the weekend are windy but Sunday will be very windy with gusts to 45 mph dropping our temperatures through the 40s and 30s with wind chills in the 20s.

By the time the rain (and snowflakes) wrap up, most of us will be looking at 0.25-0.75" of new rainfall.
