MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--As we await the start of summer on the 20th, we finally will see a nice boost with the temperatures leading up to the a new season. However, as temps increase, so does the chance for rain and storms. First off, most of Father's Day weekend looks quiet and cool across the area. Look for highs in the 60s and 70s. Obviously, an onshore wind means warmer west once again. The rain and storm chances start to increase into a new work week and then really take off by later Tuesday and Wednesday. Some of these storms could be on the stronger side. Hopefully, all the storminess will exit later in the week for the Juneteenth holiday and the start of Summerfest on Thursday. Again, Friday kicks off summer. The exact time will be 9:42 PM CDT.
