Anonymous hacks KKK Twitter account after group threatens protesters

The hacker group known as Anonymous has taken over the Twitter account of the Ku Klux Klan as part of it's Operation KKK (#OpKKK). The Twitter account takeover comes after the KKK released a statement threatening protesters in Ferguson, MO.

The @KuKluxKlanUSA Twitter account mocked the hacking group after receiving threats of a hack from Anonymous. A few of the KKK's Twitter followers joined in saying "Anonymous is nothing, but a bunch of wannabe's." The hacking group took over the KKK's Twitter account two hours later.

Anonymous has yet to delete the account, but promises to release a statement.

Below is the tweet where the KKK taunted Anonymous followed by the tweet where Anonymous took over the KKK's account.
