Annual holiday food drive begins Monday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hunger Task Force is kicking off their annual holiday food drive. The drive looks to build awareness and help Milwaukee families facing hunger during the holiday season.  

The “Food for Families” drive is asking donors to donate healthy items this year, giving a list of six foods most needed during the holiday season. Those items are:

·         Peaches in 100% Juice      

·         Green Beans, Low Sodium    

·         Peanut Butter       

·         Brown Rice

·         Breakfast Cereal, No Sugar Added

·         1% Low Fat/Skim Boxed Milk

The Hunger Task Force warehouse is located at 201 S. Hawley Court in Milwaukee.
