MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The new home of the Milwaukee Bucks, Fiserv Forum, is just days away from opening its doors to the public.
On Thursday, CBS 58 got an inside look at the technology in the new arena.
There are 840 digital screens inside the building. The screens will be used to showcase the events going on inside Fiserv Forum but will also be used around the arena for fans in places like the concession stands.
Officials say internet access was also a focus while building the arena. In Fiserv Forum, every seat will be covered by wireless internet. According to Bucks staff, this is all to better the fan experience.
“It will be an experience you have never had based on all of the technology in the building and all of the connectivity,” Bucks Chief Technology Officer Robert Cordova said. “So really all of the options that the fan, spectator will have will really be a unique experience.”
Fiserv Forum will open its doors to the public on Sunday for an open house. Although admission to the event is free, visitors will need to claim their free ticket at www.bucks.com/openhouse.
