Update: 1:15pm Tuesday, June 13th

Steady rain continues this afternoon. Much needed rain is starting to add up. Check out totals so far as of 1:15pm:

And it's still coming down at a moderate clip. At this rate most of us should end up with a solid half inch of rain and some locations may creep close to an inch. This is great news since we are down on rain, leaving a deficit of 2.66" in May and 1.45" to date this month. The June figure doesn't include today's rain so hopefully we can put a modest dent in the continued dry month we have been experiencing so far.

Plan on rain for the evening commute.

However, rain will wrap up just before sunset tonight.

Update as of 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 13th

Still waiting on the rain, but it's coming.  You can see it across the northern tier this morning.  It'll be here across the metro after 10 a.m. and will last through the afternoon into the early evening.  Rainfall amounts between 1/2" and 3/4" for some.  This is very welcomed.  We have a slight chance for precip into Wednesday night and then Saturday into Sunday.  But this is the best opportunity all week.  Highs only in the 60s today but 70s the rest of the week.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Our weather pattern has changed a bit.  We had some rain on Sunday, certainly not nearly enough. A few tenths of an inch for many. And here's the good news. More could fall periodically this week.  The risk is there for showers, possibly thunder, late in the day on Monday and into the evening.  Then Tuesday another push of shower activity. We have a broad area of low pressure to the east sending spokes of energy our way.  Wednesday evening, another opportunity of showers and thunder as a front drops down from the north.  Then, another chance of precip Saturday into Sunday with a completely different storm system.  Hopefully, some of us could get more than a half an inch out of the deal if not more.  Highs most of the week will stay in the 70s this week.
