MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ordinary people are often the most capable of accomplishing something extraordinarily good, which is why the American Red Cross of Southeastern Wisconsin is accepting nominations for the 2023 Brave Hearts Heroes ceremony and fundraising event.
Honorees will be celebrated across six categories: Adult Good Samaritan, Community Safety, Security and Resiliency Hero, From the Heart Hero, Military Hero, Youth Good Samaritan and Hero of the Year.
They will be based on any heroic actions from the 2022 calendar year, with nominations being due by Feb. 15, 2023.
To learn more, we were joined on Dec. 1 by Mark Thomas, American Red Cross Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter Executive, Kelly Clark, also with the American Red Cross and Chris Kuranz, Chairman of Brave Hearts.
