MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Almost 2,000 cars have been ticketed in Milwaukee over the weekend. Milwaukee DPW issued a snow operation for Saturday and Sunday nights. Residents will need to move their car to the EVEN side of the street Sunday night before 11 p.m. and leave them there until 6 a.m.

So far 1,901 citations have been issued.

Some MPS parking lots are open for parking for those unable to find street parking.

DPW has just over 100 pieces of equipment on the roads Sunday night to continue cleaning up from the snow.

Drivers are reminded that when parking along the Streetcar Route they must be behind the white line and as flush to the curb as possible.
