All eyes on the weekend for significant snow

As of today Milwaukee is now in a seasonal snow deficit. After a busy two weeks around Halloween, the accumulating snow has been few and far between.
We are seeing differences with the long range models on snow this weekend; however, there are signals that accumulating snow will arrive Saturday into Sunday.
It's all about the placement of the surface low. 2 of our models take the surface low well to our south. If that happens we are still talking snow, but the totals would be much lower.
The EURO model has the track further north and really dumps the snow across our area.
Hopefully over the next 24 hours we will have more consistency. We will keep you updated as this forecast changes.
