MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sarah Hagenow, the 78th Alice in Dairyland, joined us on Wednesday, Feb. 4 to get everyone excited about Wisconsin potatoes.
Hagenow talked about what makes Wisconsin potatoes special and the varieties grown in the state. Wisconsin is the third largest potato-producing state in the nation.
She also discussed a fun recipe using Wisconsin potatoes and their nutritional benefits. Potatoes are low in calories, high in fiber and a good source of vitamin B6, potassium and vitamin C.
