MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Wow! What a Friday night. We had crazy snow squalls move through, even reports of thunder snow. There were wind gusts around 70 mph in West Bend and the northwest side of Milwaukee. Visibilities dropped in an instant. Snowfall amounts ranged from 1/2" to an inch.
Meantime, the winds will stay rather brisk, especially into Sunday morning. Wind gusts could be more than 40 mph. Then we sit and wait for a few winter systems to come our way, mainly later Monday into Tuesday and then Thursday into Friday. The first system could give us a wintry mix and then second system will be mainly snow. Still hard to talk about amounts but stay tuned. And send us more of your snow squall shots, please, at [email protected] or via the CBS 58 weather mobile app.
Oh the temps. They're all over the place again. Highs will be near 20 on Saturday to near 50 Sunday and then back in the 20s and 30s. Please be very careful on the ice if you have to venture on it at all.
