MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We did it. Tied for the fifth warmest Christmas. We got to 52 degrees for a high, something we did 29 years ago in 1994. Looking ahead, it stays mild with highs in the 40s for the next few days and then a cool down by the end of the week. I'm talking highs in the 30s then, still above the average. Also, look for rain showers into early Tuesday morning. Between a quarter and third of an inch is possible.

As far as precipitation goes, we have a chance on Thursday and Sunday respectively. The computer models are still differing. With cooler air in place, it'll be more of a mixy kind or all snow. But as it stands now, nothing heavy at all. Of course, Sunday is New Year's Eve. This brings a whole set of problems in itself. You throw in bad weather and then...watch out . Stay tuned.
