MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Introducing: Arlo!
This handsome boy is four years old and believed to be a Great Pyrenees mix or some kind of livestock guardian dog.
He's been at MADACC since New Year's Eve and would love to spend the new year in a home of his own.
Arlo is a big guy, weighing around 75 pounds. He loves to frolic in the snow and play with his snuffle mat and squeaky toys.
Arlo is heartworm positive, so he's listed as "foster-to-adopt." While it may sound like a scary diagnosis, MADACC will treat Arlo and take on all the medical expenses until he tests negative.
He'll stay with you as a foster during that time, and once he's given the all-clear, you can adopt him fully!
To meet Arlo, stop by MADACC during adoption hours:
- Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.
