Accidental shooting prompts lock down

KENOSHA -- Four Kenosha schools were on temporary lock down for about 30 to 40 minutes after a man shot himself in the leg. Police believe the shooting was accidental, but shut down the schools as a precaustion.


Kenosha Unified Director of Communications says the schools on lock down were Brass Community School, Frank Elementary, Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum, and Lincoln Middle School.


The man who was shot has been transported to a local hospital.
