Abele and Larson to Face Off in Milwaukee County Executive General Election

UPDATE 11:25 PM: With 100% reporting, Chris Larson has 45% of the vote and Chris Abele has 44% of the vote.
ORIGINAL: County Executive Chris Abele will square off with Chris Larson for the county executive seat in the April election.
With 96% reporting, the two both have 45% of the vote.
“Our incredible showing in the primary is a clear statement from the voters that they are ready for new leadership in Milwaukee County government," said Chris Larson.
"I didn't run because I wanted to raise my profile for something else, for some other political seat. I didn't run because I wanted to win a fight with somebody or defeat this party or that party. I ran because I believe in government. I love my home. I love this county," said Abele.
