MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- AARP of Wisconsin wants local seniors to know that there are lots of ways to get around Milwaukee County.
The group held a virtual forum Tuesday, Aug. 11, with various transit services, including MCTS, Bublr Bikes and the Milwaukee County Department on Aging.
The executive director of Bublr says the nonprofit will be adding electric bikes to its fleet next year, making the bike-share more accessible to seniors.
"It also expands who can use the bikes, maybe some of those hills are getting harder for you than they used to be, those e-bikes can help make sure you can get up those hills and get where you need to go," Executive Director James Davies said.
MCTS and the Department on Aging also have special transportation deals for those over 65 years old.
