Aaron Rodgers' first words to Brett Favre: "Good morning, Grandpa!"

According to Jeff Pearlman, Aaron Rodgers first words to Brett Favre upon arriving to Green Bay were, "Good morning, Grandpa!"

In an excerpt published by Bleacher Report, Pearlman, the author of GUNSLINGER: The Remarkable, Improbable, Iconic Life of Brett Favre, talks about the strained relationship the Packers quarterbacks had with one another.

Rodgers was drafted in 2005 while Favre was still the starting quarterback for the Packers. Since then, Favre has retired and been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame while Rodgers was won a Super Bowl and two NFL MVP awards as the Packers quarterback.

The excerpt comes as Favre is scheduled to be honored during halftime of the Packers-Cowboys matchup Sunday at Lambeau Field.
