(CBS 58) – The Association of American Medical Colleges is urging the need for a nationwide COVID-19 testing strategy.
According to leaders, it would help identify, track and help curtail the spread of COVID-19.
AAMC Senior Director of Science Policy and Regulatory Counsel, Heather Pierce, joined CBS 58 to talk about the recommendations for policymakers. The AAMC says policymakers need to develop a clear and transparent national testing strategy with specific standards implemented the same way in each state.
The AAMC also has a testing guide and more information for those with questions.
