A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of our area on Wednesday
CBS 58 A storm system will slide across Wisconsin late tonight through Wednesday afternoon creating some winter conditions.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for our northern counties from 6 am until 6 pm Wednesday. Those areas will have the greatest chance for 1" to 3" inches of snowfall. Temperatures in the 30s will create some slick roads.
Most of the metro will pickup 0.5" to 1" of snowfall. You can see the bullseye of higher totals within the advisory area. Snow will start around daybreak and last into the late afternoon.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday are expected to be quiet. Another system will come in for the weekend that could create significant accumulation.
In addition to the scattered snow showers, winds could gust to 50 mph on Wednesday. A wind advisory has been issued. Those winds will create wind chills in the teens and 20s.
