Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha counties have been upgraded to a High Wind Warning through 7pm as wind gusts have been near or exceeding 60 mph.

These strong gusts will continue through sunset with power outages and tree damage possible. Kenosha has experienced the strongest wind gust so far today at 63 mph!

Oh the winds of change! What a difference from the 70s and rain yesterday. Solid rain closed in on the area during Wednesday's evening commute. It dropped a good half inch of rain, check it out:

Now, much cooler air has rushed in behind this storm system.
We're down around thirty degrees from noon temps yesterday in many spots! And to make matters worse, the wind is howling!
Winds have gusted over fifty miles per hour for places like Milwaukee. That's well enough to have a Wind Advisory. It runs until 7pm tonight. Gusts could run up to about 55 mph this afternoon. Tough for travel, especially higher profile vehicles on the north-south freeways:
Not to mention folks heading down to see the Brewers Home opener. Brace for objects to blow around. Use extreme caution with tailgating, things like grills and wind blown embers could very well cause some issues. In fact, the Brewers have advised not to use tents out in the parking lots today due to the high winds!
Oh, and did I mention the wind chill? Feeling like the 20s and 30s today so bundle up before you head out! This wild weather will be with us into this evening.
Seems to be fitting for Spring in Wisconsin and on this 414 day.
