MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Mother Nature is giving us all the bad weather in one day right before the State Fair starts on Thursday. Look for rain and storms throughout the day. Hopefully the severe weather threat stays well south. Much cooler with highs in the 70s as well. Some of us could see more than an inch of rain. Look for poor air quality as Canadian wildfire smoke moves in from the north behind a cold front. Thursday's airmass should be better. Also, we'll have a high swim risk for Wednesday afternoon into early Friday as wind and waves pick up. Any lingering showers on Thursday should be gone by the time the gates open at State Fair at 10 AM. The weekend looks great with highs near 80 by Sunday.
