June is in the records books as we welcome in July! July had decent rain chances with some downpours here and there but it is also our wettest month of the year, on average, with over 4" of rainfall. Officially Milwaukee ended below average on rainfall with a little over 3" of total rain. last year saw almost 5" of rain.
June was also a warm month with an average temperature of 68.8 degrees good enough to be over a full degree above the June average. The warm month was aided by four days with highs in the 90s including three days in a row that hit 94 for the warmest temps of the month. Fittingly, the coldest temp of the month came on June 1st when the low dropped into the low 40s.
Now July is here and it's typically not as wet as June with just under three and a half inches of rain. July does see some warming but more steady temps than anything with average highs in the low 80s and average lows in the low to middle 60s.
