Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Joey
Thousands of people enjoy the Wisconsin State Fair every year but there are some children in Milwaukee who can't join in on the fun because they are sick. Today, that changed.
Organizers brought the sights and sounds of the fair to Children's Hospital. Patients and families had a good time playing games in the lobby and sampling beloved fair foods.
"Often they can't leave the hospital for whatever reason so today, we've brought the outside into them. The smiles on their child's faces means the world to them and our staff," said Family Services Manager Eileen Clark.
