Milwaukee – The Mary Nohl House in Fox Point is expected to relocate to Sheboygan County in the summer. There has been a long debate over the unique site. It’s named after the former owner, the artist Mary L. Nohl who died in 2001. The current owners wanted to build a parking lot for more people to come see the unique statues.
Residents who live on or near North Beach Drive were not in favor of a parking lot. Neighbors say a petition was signed to block that action. Other residents say they have visited the site for years, and they are sad it will no longer be a Milwaukee attraction. We tried to speak with the current owners of the Mary Nohl House. Our attempts were not successful.
