A Chilly Halloween Forecast

What once looked like a mild Halloween forecast has now turned frightfully chilly.  Despite early forecasts from the Climate Prediction Center indicating above normal temperatures to close out the month, conditions are now looking quite cold.  Here's a look at past Halloween data over the last five years. As temps only reach the low and mid 40's, this Halloween cold be the coldest one over the last half decade.  This rapid cool down comes following a cold front that's expected to sweep across the state this Thursday. Not only will temps cool down, there's some indication a few flurries may fly across our northern and eastern communities early Friday. It's a forecast that bears close watching in the coming days as it could provide the first flurries of the season!
